The situation with Lavera is quite the same as it was with Logocos. Lavera products are exported to China, too, although they claim that animal testing is inconsistent with their corporate philosophy. We found a current german statement by Lavery saying (in short) that there was no proof for animal testing through chinese authorities, and that it is also important for them that everybody should be able to buy (their?) natural cosmetics … And so on …
We contacted Lavera in order to find out if there is a change in their attitude towards this topic after Logocos withdrew from the chinese market. If not, we will stop selling Lavera toothpaste very soon.
